WARREN, New Jersey – January 16, 2024 – Everest Insurance®, the insurance division of Everest Group, Ltd. (NYSE: EG), a global underwriting leader providing best-in-class property, casualty, and specialty reinsurance and insurance solutions, has appointed industry leader Bill Hazelton to Head of US Retail Casualty in North America. Mr. Hazelton will be based in Everest’s Warren, NJ headquarters and will report directly to Mike Mulray, President, Everest Insurance North America. He replaces David Sandler who will be leaving the Company to pursue other opportunities.

Mr. Hazelton will oversee the direction and strategy of Everest’s US Retail Casualty business, including the division’s Industry Practices segment. He brings more than three decades of extensive industry experience most recently as Head of North America Industry Practices at Chubb where he spent the last 20 years in a variety of leadership roles across underwriting, claims and distribution.
