This position will be based in the … office with a hybrid schedule that has the option of working two days remotely each week.

Role Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Client Engagement to add value to our growth activities by leading and overseeing the development and execution of strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. This involves understanding client needs, ensuring client satisfaction, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional products or services. The Head of Client Engagement plays a pivotal role in driving business growth through effective targeting,  communication, customer retention, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

An excellent Head of Client Engagement has an entrepreneurial mindset and great leadership skills. The ideal candidate will also be a creative strategist with excellent organizational abilities.  

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive client engagement:
    • Build relationships and revenue streams by partnering with existing and prospective clients (not Brokers!)
    • Executive Sponsorship strategy across Europe and Underwriting community  
    • Collaborate with clients to help build string communication channels and internal alignment
    • Build, maintain and animate the client relationships through face to face meetings and entertainment strategy
    • Thought leadership communication through the ongoing providing of consultations, recommendations, research, etc. to existing and prospective clients
    • Identify opportunities for increased client engagement (cross-sell, up-sell)
    • Drive the roll out of the International Targeted pipeline and sale funnel in the region
    • Leads the pursuit and capture of client renewals and retention
    • Ensure presence and involvement at key industry events and risk management forums
    • Establish and manage a client event calendar

  • Empower our organisation:
    • Define and execute client Go-to market strategies, client penetration strategy by product and country
    • Map and communicate capabilities and risk appetite
    • Build customer advocates and client advisory boards: develop deep strategic client relationships and build a loyal client base that actively advocates for our company
    • CRM tool and overarching strategy and process
    • Identify and deploy best practices across international regions
    • Advance our client analytics and market intelligence capabilities

  • Serve our trading partners:
    • Provide timely responses to client inquiries
    • Support the client navigating the company (senior management, UW, claims, risk engineering, etc.)
    • Develop voice of the client survey
    • Spearhead or contribute to transversal initiatives

  • Marketing and Communication

Professional Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients
  • In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
