Gary Haase is Executive Vice President and CEO of Legacy Operations at Everest.
Gary Haase brings more than two decades of experience across insurance, reinsurance, and financial services, with deep expertise in legacy portfolio management, operational transformation, and data-driven analytics.
Most recently, Gary served as Executive Advisor to private equity and technology firms on insurance M&A and transformation. He previously held senior executive roles at CNA Financial Corporation and Catalina Holdings (Bermuda) Ltd., including EVP and COO at CNA and Group COO at Catalina, leading enterprise technology, data and analytics, operations, and global run-off strategy. He began his career in actuarial and reinsurance roles at Quanta U.S. Holdings and Aon Benfield.
Gary is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and holds an MBA in Quantitative Finance and General Management from NYU’s Stern School of Business, where he also served as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Statistics.
