Phil Taylor Appointed Head of Global Specialties, Everest Reinsurance to lead Company’s aviation, marine, cyber, engineering and parametric offerings
WARREN, New Jersey – January 9, 2024 – Everest Reinsurance, the reinsurance division of Everest Group, Ltd. (NYSE: EG), has established a dedicated Global Specialties business, bringing its deep expertise and offerings across Aviation, Marine, Cyber, Engineering, and Parametric Solutions under the leadership of Phil Taylor, who has been appointed Head of Global Specialties. Mr. Taylor will report to Jill Beggs, Head of North America and Global Specialty Reinsurance.

Mr. Taylor is a seasoned industry leader with more than 25 years’ experience across specialty business lines. Prior to his position as Global Head of Aerospace for Everest Reinsurance, he managed sizable Aviation portfolios, most recently at Liberty Specialty Markets. Mr. Taylor also served in various roles including Deputy Unit Head at AXIS Re and spent more than a decade at Aon most recently as a Specialty Lines Broker.
