Job Summary:

The Senior Technology Change Enablement Specialist for Change Engagement will directly report to the Director of the Service Management Office.   You will be joining the Change Enablement practice focusing on driving and implementing the future strategy as well as supporting the day-to-day Change Enablement activities.   This role will support the global framework for Everest’s IT Service Management organization based on ITIL standards and best practices.  To be successful in this role, you will need to have adept experience with the foundational building blocks of the change enablement practice, while working collaboratively with key stakeholders to influence adoption for change. This role is also strategic in nature where, full maturity of change enablement will include significant automation to support process alignment, integration with the DevOps pipeline, reducing unnecessary toil as the organization works to shift left as part of an overall technology vision to move the Everest application portfolio to the Cloud. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Accountable for managing the day-to-day change activities, including the facilitation of CAB (Change Advisory Board) and supporting meetings

  • Accountable for the weekly generation of change metrics (leading and lagging indicators); mature reporting and dashboard capability while defining a cadence for review and continuous improvement

  • Drive and help define overall adoption of Change Enablement strategy and established RACI, standards, principles and practices

  • Work with the broader IT teams and stakeholders to drive adoption and compliance of the required set of Change & Release Management practices

  • Work cohesively with other ITSM practice owners including Incident Management, Problem Management and Service level Management

  • Ensure compliance with Corporate, IT policies and procedures

  • Take on special projects, additional duties and responsibilities as required

  • Work to help define and automate a robust Change & Release Management practice supporting Cloud centric and on-premises application stack while working with key stakeholders

  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to identify and implement integration and automation opportunities to reduce risk while increasing the throughput of change execution and maintaining stability into the Everest ecosystem

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • 3 to 5 + years of experienced in Change Enablement (Change Management) practice

  • 1+ years of DevOps integration with Change and Release Management preferred

  • Extensive understanding of ServiceNow in the areas of Change and Release Management as well as metrics reporting

  • Experience with applying change management principles to a Cloud, DevOps and Microservice Release Management ecosystem

  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies of software delivery with associated support functions

  • Working understanding of CMDB and its dependency with Change, Release and DevOps integration

  • A minimum of one ITIL certifications is preferred or demonstrated experience and knowledge commensurate of the ITIL framework

  • Demonstrated experience driving definition and adoption of a global ITSM strategy
