Allan Levine

Allan Levine is Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Global Atlantic, a leading insurance and reinsurance business and a wholly owned subsidiary of KKR & Co. Inc. (NYSE: KKR), where he is a Partner. Prior to becoming Executive Chairman in 2025, Allan served as Chief Executive Officer for more than a decade.

Over more than two decades, as Chief Executive Officer, Allan’s vision and strategic direction influenced all phases of Global Atlantic’s growth since its founding as the Goldman Sachs Reinsurance Group in 2004, its separation from Goldman Sachs as an independent company in 2013, and its sale as a majority-owned subsidiary in 2021 and then a wholly owned subsidiary of KKR & Co. Inc. in 2023. Under his leadership, Global Atlantic achieved significant scale across diverse global markets and today manages more than $200 billion in assets under management, serving millions of policyholders. During his 16-year tenure at Goldman Sachs, Allan played an integral role as Partner and Co-Head of Firmwide Strategy.

Allan serves on the Board of Directors of the American Council of Life Insurers and on the Board of the Boys & Girls Club of Nantucket, where he is Vice Chair. Allan earned a B.S. from Miami University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
